Greetings!!! I have recently entered the very demanding, and hopefully rewarding, world of BAGPIPING. I am currently receiving instruction from Jim Clough in Central New York. For those of you unfamiliar with learning the bagpipes, you don't actually learn to play on the pipes themselves. You first learn to finger the notes on what is called a practice chanter. In any case, for those interested in finding out more about the BAGPIPES, I have compiled a list of links below. My band links consist of Bands From New York, (where I live), Bands from New Jersey, (where I grew up), and Bands from Ireland, (the Birthplace of my Mother and both sets of Grandparents). My Father, who was a Bagpiper for many years, was born and raised in what he called the 33rd County of Ireland, The Bronx, NY.
Hope you enjoy!!!!

By this time, I'm sure anyone reading this page is aware of the Horrors that occurred In this Country on 09/11/01. Please keep in your thoughts and prayers, the deceased and the Family Members they leave behind, the injured, and all of those involved in the rescue and recovery efforts. The NYFD and NYPD suffered tremendous losses, and if you would like to send them a message of support, links to their Emerald Society Pipe and Drum Bands are listed below.
